- Visits to local libraries
- Attending movies or concerts Community Engagement or Community Participation supports participants in achieving their goals related to engaging in community, social, or recreational activities. These services may be provided in a facility or a community setting. This critical service helps promote independence among NDIS participants, offering them the freedom to select activities that align with their interests and goals, thus fostering connections with like-minded individuals. Funding for Community Participation is available under both core and capacity building supports.
