We are seeking a Disability Support Workers for immediate start to provide in-home care, supporting client, conducting day care activities, performing community participation for client in northern Adelaide. Experience in Community Participation will be prioritised for interview and selection. 

Your role will include but is not limited to:

•  Firm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management and Quality and Safeguards practice standards; 
• Handling client issues to ensure they are managed in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform direct care duties for individual participants as specified in the Personal Care Profile including (but not limited to): showering/bathing, dressing/grooming, toileting, preparing meals, assisting participants to eat their meal, provide participant with additional support where required (such as picking participant up from school).
• Use phone application to log in and log out from assigned shifts. Leave case notes after shifts .
• Must be available for regular afternoon, shifts across a 5-day roster, Monday to Friday.

To be successful for this position as Disability Support Worker, we require: 

• Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability
• NDIS Worker Screening
• Certificate 3 or above in Individual support (or equivalent)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Full Australian Driver’s License Preferred Manual Handling
• National Police Certificate
